Pete and I sometime talk about how frustrating it is that we have had so many challenges in our lives i.e. infertility, financial shortfalls, moving from our first home we owned into a rental, etc. It can be quite depressing and frustrating even though we are tremendously blessed. We have a place to call home and two AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL children we never thought we would ever have. We truly are blessed and need to constantly focus on our blessings instead of what we wish we had.
With that, Pete sent me a link to this story and her blog. This AMAZING woman has experienced and is still experiencing diversity, heart ache, sorrow, loss, physical pain and permanent scaring. She is an inspiration that life goes on and one needs to be thankful for what they have. I see it as just when life starts to stink I need to remember it can truly get a lot worse. If you have those days I encourage you to read her story and blog. One suggestion is to have a box of tissue with you... if you are anything like me you will need it...

Thanks for posting this story. I've seen some of it on the news, but appreciate the chance to follow along and watch this amazing family as they go through life inspiring the rest of us.
