I'm TWO!

Delaney turned 2 years old on November 26th. She is our "turkey" baby (born on Thanksgiving 2009). Auntie Courtney took her 2 year old picture a few weeks ago and here are the best (I love them all!)...

This is one of my favorites (this is her true personality)

P.S. We love having pictures taken by Auntie Courtney. She is so talented and loves our little ones so much that she does an extra special job. We love you Auntie Courtney and thank you!!!

12 Days of Christmas

We were lucky enough to be chosen by some "Secret Elves" for Their 12 Days of Christmas. Yesterday we got Cinnamon clay to make ornaments. We cut out the shapes today and they are cooking as we speak. Tonight the elves struck again and we received Christmas hats (2 reindeer, 1 elf & 1 Santa). We were so excited we took pictures minus Dad as he is at work. A big thank you to our "secret elves" we are having so much fun!

Christmas Caroling

This week for Family Home Evening we were invited to go Christmas Caroling with several families from church. We went to 3 houses and sang Jingle Bells, Silent Night and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. It was supper cold out, but we had tons of fun. We then went back to our friends house, the Wolfley's and had yummy desert. My favorite was the homemade Pumpkin Roll. I am so thankful for ward friends.

When we got home Laney couldn't wait to get her tights off. The problem was that she had pants on over them!

Christmas Concert

Cooper is part of a singing group called TaVaci. He has practices once a week which builds up to a Christmas Concert. This year it was on Saturday, December the 3rd. Mommy, Dad and Laney were there to watch. Can I just say that it was AWESOME!

There is a younger and older group. The older group knew the songs and had the motions down perfectly. They did a great job. The younger group were a bit of a mess. Although, they were well trained they were hilarious.... Cooper pulled on his tie, sat down, touched the other kids, had to take a potty break right in the middle of the performance (even though we took him just before it started) and genuinely acted his age (4 years old). At first, it was a bit embarrassing, but because I expected this (after the primary program) I just laughed the whole time. The other kids his age acted accordingly so he was in good company. To add to the excitement Laney was acting her "terrible two" to a tee so I had to stand in the back the whole time. Can I just say even though it is crazy some times I love being a mom!

Bath Time Again...

This is what happens when Mom forgets to let the water out of the tub after bath time...

Christmas Tree Outting

Our Christmas Tree tradition was interrupted this year by the injury of Grandpa's shoulder. Traditionally, Grandpa, Dad and Cooper travel up the local mountains and cut down a Noble fir tree, but since Grandpa couldn't go we felt Dad and Cooper shouldn't go alone. Therefore, we decided to visit a local tree farm to cut down our tree this year. We took our niece, Macey, with us for the adventure. The farm was small, but had hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes to enjoy. We were so happy that we found the perfect tree! After we went to lunch at a local diner (food wasn't so good, but we enjoyed our day!)

 And we are off...
